Nissan Forklift Introduces New
Heart-of-the-Line EPA Compliant Engine Powered Forklifts
Marengo, Illinois - January
2004. Nissan Forklift is pleased to announce the introduction of their next
generation of engine-powered forklifts, the Platinum Series. Available in
pneumatic, compact pneumatic, and cushion tire models, these forklifts have been
redesigned from the ground up to incorporate the latest technological advances
for increased efficiency and performance, while greatly reducing exhaust
emissions to exceed the new requirements established by EPA for 2004 and beyond.
These new models are in full production and are being manufactured in Nissan's
Marengo, Illinois production facility.
Available in an exciting, new metallic silver color scheme, these models are
designed to deliver the "Perfect Balance for Owner, Operator, and the
Environment," providing increased performance, comfort, and lower cost of
ownership than previous models. With new stringent EPA air quality standards in
full effect beginning in 2004, Nissan has once again taken the leadership
position in clean air engine technology by becoming the first forklift
manufacturer to receive compliance status with their new Electronic Concentrated
Control System on all new Nissan K21 and K25, gasoline, LPG, and dual fuel
industrial engines.
